Why Is a Horse an Active Partner?

Horses are prey animals and must always be clear and present. Horses invite us into the present moment.

Horses are highly sensitive and tuned into our energy fields. By perceiving our somatic energy fields, unexpressed feelings, fears, resistances, and emotions they are our tuning forks. Horse behaviors, such as moving away, will alert you to review those unexpressed feelings and experience awareness. Awareness changes our viewpoint and helps us to examine choices and actions for what is next.
